Working with clay is for me a form of meditation, of being in the present and releasing inner creativity. In this 4 classes course you will learn the basics ceramic technique and how to glaze the pieces. In the first three classes you will learn a new ceramic modeling technique every class, these are the Pinch technique, the Roll or Coil technique and the Plaque technique. You will also learn to paint with slips and to glaze the pieces for their final finish. You can take the created pieces home once finished.

Participate and create your own mug and plate that you can enjoy every day for breakfast.
Make a mug and a plate using diferents techniques.
Paint and decore them.
They will then proceed to the kiln to be fired at high temperature.
Later, I'll finish them with transparent glaze and return them to the kiln so you may take them home and utilize them in your daily life.

In this course you will learn to create exclusive hand-painted ceramic pieces with the undercover technique. I will guide you through the process so you will make an original drawing and transfer it to two 21 cm diameter white earthenware plates.
We will glaze them and after firing you can take them home.

We all know that working with clay with your hands is therapeutic, combined with wine it becomes quite an experience.
The objective of this workshop is to create and decorate a simple piece, like a cup, a mug or a planter, while we share a pleasant time having a glass of good wine and a small appetizer to accompany it.
This is a fun, casual intro to clay, a chance to have a laugh and get your hands a little dirty.

This tile painting workshop is a fascinating approach to the world of traditional Portuguese art and the Majolica tile painting technique.
You will have the creative freedom to create your own tile project or reproduce traditional patterns while incorporating your own essence, resulting in your own unique design.
We will paint two 15 cm x 15 cm tiles using the beautiful Majolica artistic technique. Following the painting session, the tiles must be fired in a ceramic oven (kiln) and will be ready for collection in one week.
